Job summary

Intermountain Health's Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver seeks experienced Registered Nurses to join our Site Float Pool. As a Float Pool RN you’ll provide safe, compassionate care across multiple inpatient units, adapting quickly to changing patient needs and workflows.

You’ll float to medical-surgical, telemetry, progressive care, post-surgical and specialty units, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of care. Requires BSN and active RN license; BLS.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice; compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days of start.
• Minimum one year of RN experience.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• BSN required; degree will be verified.
• RNs with <12 months experience must obtain BSN within four years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care across diverse patient populations and clinical settings.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve optimal outcomes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per policies and evidence-based practices.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Adapt to varying patient volumes and workflows while maintaining quality and safety.
