Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, coordinate with physicians and support staff, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Must have a current and valid Registered Nurse license to work at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.
• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation of care.
• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health.
• Performs age and disease specific assessment/data collection.
• Communicates, coordinates, and implements the plan of care.
• Provides ongoing communication with patient/family and nursing colleagues.
• Coordinates patient care with physicians and support services.
• Ensures documentation reflects care delivered and outcomes achieved.
