Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to provide high-quality patient care within an interdisciplinary team. The RN will assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure safe, effective treatment.

The role requires a valid NJ nursing license and BLS/CPR certification, with six months of nursing experience or active participation in the Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Must have six (6) or more months of nursing experience OR must be an active participant with Hackensack Meridian Health’s Nurse Residency Program.
• Telemetry certification is a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, strong teamwork, and ongoing education are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards of care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; coordinate with the healthcare team.
• Communicate and coordinate plan of care with patients, families, and staff; ensure timely documentation.
