Job summary

NSCD seeks a Program Supervisor to manage adaptive outdoor programs across Winter Park and Denver, overseeing instructors, interns, and coordinators. You will coordinate custom groups, weekly programs, and camps while mentoring staff and interns and ensuring high safety standards.

You will develop training, mentor programs, and oversee equipment coordination in collaboration with management. A CTRS or related certification and first aid/CPR are required, with primary focus on staff leadership

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior ability to organize, plan, and execute full scope of programs.
  • Colorado driver’s license and background check requirements are needed.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise programs, staff, participants, and interns in Winter Park and Denver across multiple activities.
  • Assess participants for appropriate activities and provide instruction as needed.
  • Document and evaluate program benefits and staff performance.
  • Develop and implement mentor and training programs for staff, volunteers, and interns.
  • Coordinate adaptive equipment and transportation with program management and equipment dept.
  • Oversee off-site facility arrangements and internship programs with partner colleges.
  • Attend trainings and maintain safety standards per NSCD policies.

Bachelor’s degree in special education, physical education, recreational therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy or related field
Current CTRS certification
