Job summary

Point Quest, Inc. seeks an Adapted Physical Education Specialist for our Los Angeles-area school-based program.

The part-time role focuses on delivering Adapted PE sessions, designing individualized programs, and contributing to IEP goals tailored to student needs. Ideal candidates will hold a valid Adapted Physical Education teaching credential, pass required background checks, and be eligible to work in the US.

Qualifications

Must have a valid Teaching Credential with authorization to teach Adapted Physical Education.
Background Check: DOJ/FBI or state/national fingerprint clearance.
Eligibility to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Deliver and consult on Adapted PE sessions, designing programs addressing fitness, gross motor, perceptual-motor skills, and sports for individual IEP needs.
Participate in IEP process from referral to implementation, including assessments, reports, meetings, and goal development.
Monitor pupil progress and provide periodic reports; maintain records of progress, goals, attendance and parent interactions.
Attend in-person events as needed and perform other assigned responsibilities.
