Job summary

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse to support multiple units including MS2, PCU, ED, BC, PACU, ACU, and Oncology. The role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and collaboration with the care team.

The Float Pool RN will move between units based on census and acuity, ensuring continuity of care and maintaining competency across assignments. Vermont RN license and active BLS/ACLS/PALS are expected, with a 36-hour weekly schedule across 12-hour day

Qualifications

• RN license required and valid in Vermont.
• Minimum 2 years RN acute care experience recommended.
• Experience in multiple units or float pool desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across MS2, PCU, ED, BC, PACU, ACU, and Oncology per staffing needs.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate with care teams to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.
