Qualifications

• Must include all necessary education and specific subject area certifications
• Qualifies as a substitute teacher through EduStaff
• Experience with elementary-aged children is highly desirable
• Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and teaching styles
• Maintains professional standards and communicates effectively with staff

Responsibilities

• Fill in as the classroom teacher in the absence of the regular teacher and deliver lessons
• Follow lesson plans and communicate progress to students and staff
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
• Manage student behavior per school policies
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity in education
• Participate in professional development to improve teaching skills
• Perform additional duties as assigned by administration, including supervising lunch/recess
