Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEPs through ARD for each student.
  • Implement instructional, therapeutic, or skill development programs per IEP.
  • Plan and use appropriate instructional strategies and materials to meet diverse needs.
  • Modify regular curricula and assist special education students in regular classes.
  • Participate in ARD committee meetings regularly.
  • Assess learning styles and use results to plan activities.
  • Present subject matter according to IEP guidelines.
  • Use technology in the teaching/learning process.
