Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Maryland RN license or eligibility via NLN Compact.
• BLS certification active and maintainable.
• Two years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• BSN degree or higher is required or preferred depending on unit.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP or equivalent may be required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care appropriate to patient population and acuity.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document in EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality of care.
• Safely administer medications and use clinical equipment per policy.
• Delegate and supervise nursing activities within competencies.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and ongoing professional development.
