West Virginia University is seeking an ADA Van Driver responsible for transporting mobility impaired students while providing assistance and maintaining records. You'll operate specially equipped vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety and transportation regulations.

The position includes assisting passengers and managing various responsibilities related to parking enforcement and vehicle maintenance, providing a fulfilling work-life balance with comprehensive benefits, including health insurance and retirement savings.

Qualifications

Must obtain a Class D Chauffeur’s License valid in West Virginia within 30 days of hire.
Must complete Emergency first-aid and CPR certification within 6 months of hire.
Certification in wheelchair passenger assistance equipment is required.

Responsibilities

Transport mobility impaired students using a specially equipped mini bus.
Assist mobility impaired persons with adaptive devices and secure equipment for safe transport.
Maintain records of trips and submissions of monthly reports.
