The University of Georgia in Athens is seeking a Van Operator (Student) to transport passengers with registered disabilities in ADA vans across campus and assist with passenger boarding. You will inspect the vehicle before, during, and after shifts and complete time sheets and vehicle condition reports.
Responsibilities include operating AVL equipment, assisting with wheelchair ramps, and performing occasional non-driving duties such as vehicle washing and safety meetings.

Transport passengers with registered disabilities in an accessible van to and from various campus locations in accordance with applicable laws and department procedures. Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle as necessary. Inspect vehicle before, during, and after shift to ensure vehicle is in proper operating condition. Complete necessary paperwork, including time sheets and vehicle condition reports. Operates other vehicle equipment such as electronic AVL equipment and wheelchair ramps.
