Job summary

The role reports to the Executive Director of Equity and Access and Diversity Education, involves in-person work, and requires strong knowledge of ADA and related regulations along with experience in disability management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the ADA and applicable laws/regulations.
• Experience in workplace disability management and accommodations.
• Strong written and verbal communication to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to manage disability accommodation requests and interactive process.
• Serve as point of contact for employees seeking accommodations and coordinate meetings.
• Review disability documentation to determine eligibility for accommodations.
• Conduct accessibility evaluations of facilities, programs, and services.
• Identify and recommend equipment and assistive technology for accommodations.
• Deliver workshops on ADA requirements and accessibility best practices.
• Maintain confidential records and case notes.
• Participate in university accessibility committees.
• Stay current on state/federal law changes and best practices.
