Job summary

Hearst Television in Charlotte is hiring a Traffic Specialist for Ad Operations. The role supports 33 stations nationwide by processing orders, preparing daily logs, and handling general ad operations tasks for sales teams and management.

You will back up other specialists, maintain logs, optimize inventory, and ensure accurate order entry while adhering to SOPs. Onsite attendance is required and extensive training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide back up when other Specialists are out of the office.
• Prepare and maintain on-air logs and manage commercial inventory.
• Maximize revenue and inventory for a group of stations.
• Interpret and implement station instructions and agency requests.
• Build instruction sets for WideOrbit orders and assign to orders.
• Review missing instruction reports and liaise with agency/station personnel.
• Enter and verify station advertising orders for accuracy.
• Support HTV Best Practices and SOPs implementation.
