Job summary

NBCUniversal's EPIC Legal Team seeks a Counsel, Ad Tech & Partnerships to help develop, distribute and monetize data-driven advertising products. The role involves drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and advising on complex legal issues in a fast-paced environment.

Based in New York with a hybrid schedule, you will work with Privacy, Information Security, and Business teams to ensure compliance while driving innovative ad-tech initiatives and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and member of a state bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience at a law firm and/or in‑house legal department.
• Experience drafting and negotiating master service agreements, SaaS agreements, licenses, amendments, SOWs, renewals, and other technology agreements, as well as data privacy and security terms.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across Ad Sales for data/privacy, DM/ID, and partnerships on ad tech initiatives.
• Draft, review and negotiate master service, SaaS and data-licensing agreements.
• Counsel on data privacy and security terms with Privacy and Information Security teams.
• Lead initiatives to scale AI in the team’s workflows and improve contract intake and templates.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and advise on evolving business needs.
• Monitor and counsel on developments in privacy and technology laws.
• Hybrid NY office work four days per week.
