Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor to provide administrative leadership for the telemetry unit in Chicago. The role collaborates with leadership, supports staff development, and may assume duties in the Director/Manager's absence.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and directing patient care when needed. A BSN and leadership experience are preferred, with ongoing certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative leadership for department service functions.
• Collaborate with the unit Director and/or Manager; in their absence the Clinical Supervisor may assume administrative scope.
• Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare, conduct and oversee department orientation and training of personnel.
• Communicate with staff, physicians, and administration both written and verbally.
• Ensure quality of staff and functions during the shift; supervise and evaluate personnel.
• Perform direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Continually assess care and direct staff to adjust the care plan.
