Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson, Acute Rehab Unit in Festus, MO, seeks a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist for per diem coverage. You will assess patients and design individualized treatment plans for adults and geriatrics, supervising rehab staff and ensuring compliance with Mercy standards.

Licensure in state required with current BLS; six months to one year of rehab experience preferred, particularly in adult/geriatric care. Mercy offers strong benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification current before patient care.
• Six months to one year rehab experience preferred (adult/geriatric).

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and supervision of rehab technicians and PT assistants as allowed.
• Follow Mercy policies and standards under Therapy Leadership and Mercy Service Standards.
• Contribute to Mercy mission and service standards in daily practice.
