Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital in Reno, NV is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a part-time weekend shift. The OT will evaluate, plan, direct and administer therapy as prescribed by a physician to restore function after injury or disability.

Responsibilities include directing staff, assessing treatment effectiveness, and ensuring patient comfort and progress. Current state OT licensure and BCLS are required; 3+ years of OT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure for Occupational Therapy.
• Three (3) or more years of previous OT experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees OT department staff and students.
• Evaluates treatment outcomes and suggests changes to physician.
• Performs patient assessments and reassessments across age groups.
• Assess and address pain to optimize function and participation in rehab.
