Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a part-time Patient Care Assistant (CNA) to support inpatient acute rehab patients. You will help with activities of daily living and basic nursing tasks under RN supervision, contributing to a safe and compassionate care environment.

The role requires CNA certification in Illinois, with preferred phlebotomy and EKG certifications, plus BLS within 30 days of hire. Evening and weekend rotation may apply as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CNA Illinois approved Certification.
• Phlebotomy Certification upon hire (preferred).
• EKG Certification upon hire (preferred).
• BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment on the unit.
• Support team with routine care tasks as assigned.
