Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering patient-centered care. The role involves assisting with treatment, documenting progress, and adjusting procedures under the PT's plan.

You will also supervise a PT aide and help manage department workload with a focus on safety and patient comfort. Required is an Associate's degree and a current PTA license in the applicable state, plus BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Physical Therapist in the provision of physical therapy.
• Document patient progress notes.
• Modify treatment procedures within the plan as directed by the supervising PT.
• Provide technical assistance and direction to the Physical Therapy aide.
• Address age-specific needs for all patients.
• Report patient safety issues when identified.
• Coordinate the workload in the department.
