CHRISTUS Health in New Mexico is seeking a Clinical Supervisor in the Nursing Department to lead shifts, supervise associates, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care. You will guide daily nursing services, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and serve as a clinical resource during complex cases.

The role requires a BSN (preferred), current RN license in New Mexico, BLS, ACLS, PALS and possibly TNCC, with about 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in New Mexico.
• Current BLS, ACLS; PALS and TNCC where applicable.
• 3 years of relevant experience preferred but not required.
• National specialty certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct patient experience rounds to assess satisfaction and perform service recovery as needed.
• Assign unit tasks and ensure timely completion and break times.
• Coaches and mentors staff, promoting teamwork and constructive conflict resolution.
• Ensures adherence to infection control policies and patient safety goals.
• Monitors patient flow and collaborates on bed placement decisions.
• Coordinates with physicians and care teams for timely orders and transitions.
• Performs shift-end checks including Pyxis discrepancies and controlled substances count.
• Participates in staff interviews, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
