CHRISTUS Health seeks a Clinical Supervisor to lead a nursing unit, ensuring safe, high-quality care and efficient operations. The role oversees staffing, assigns unit tasks, and supports the interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient services.

The position emphasizes coaching, adherence to policies, infection control, and performance management while coordinating with management to improve patient flow and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in New Mexico; BLS required.
• National specialty certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates professional knowledge per nursing standards and patient rights.
• Coaches and mentors staff; participates in staff interviews and performance evaluations.
• Monitors infection control, patient safety goals, and falls/skin risk programs.
• Manages unit staffing, scheduling, and resource use to meet census and patient needs.
• Acts as primary responder for Code Blue and Rapid Response Team events.
• Ensures timely hand-off communications and adherence to physician orders.
