Job summary

Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL is seeking an Acute Medical RN to provide direct inpatient care on a 24-bed unit. You’ll assess, administer medications, educate patients and families, and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Educates patients and families on illness, treatment, and post-discharge care.
• Ensures patient safety and quality of care in collaboration with interprofessional team.
• Documents care plans and communicates across the continuum of care.
