BJC HealthCare seeks an Acute Medical RN to join the Alton Memorial Hospital unit. You will provide inpatient care for a diverse adult population, with 4-5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, on a night shift schedule (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). You’ll educate patients and families, administer meds, and coordinate care with an experienced team.

Open to new grads and experienced RNs; ACLS preferred and support is available to obtain certification after hire. Comprehensive benefits begin Day 1.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred
• ACLS certification preferred; support is available to obtain after hire

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Administers medications and educates patients and families
• Ensures patient safety and quality of care in accordance with standards
• Collaborates with interprofessional team to coordinate care
• Develops and documents individualized plans of care with defined goals
