Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking an Acute Medical RN for a 24-bed unit. You will provide comprehensive inpatient care, including assessment, medication administration, patient education, wound care, care coordination, and clinical monitoring.

Open to new graduates and experienced RNs, with ACLS preferred and opportunities to obtain certification after hire. Benefits and career growth are emphasized in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within nursing standards.
• Promotes patient and family centered care and educates on illness, home care needs and medications.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess needs and ensure communication across care continuum.

Responsibilities
