Fleming County Hospital, Acute is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily lab operations and staff in a full-time rotating schedule. The role emphasizes quality, compliance, and staff development within a small hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree in a related field and ASCP or AMT certification, plus strong arithmetic, computer, and communication skills. Supervisory responsibilities include coaching, evaluating performance, and maintaining service

Formación

• Associate's Degree in related field preferred.
• ASCP or AMT License required.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and data interpretation.
• Moderate computer skills including email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily staff activities for an assigned area or function.
• Coordinate staffing levels and assignments.
• Provide orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Perform evaluations and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Ensure quality of services and compliance with policies.
• Lead resolution of complex issues and complaints.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform additional duties as assigned.
