Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for inpatient services CAP 1. You will provide comprehensive nursing care across assigned facilities, participate in education, and support quality patient outcomes in a dialysis-focused program.

Responsibilities include data collection during dialysis, education, documentation, and collaborative care with the health team to ensure safe, effective patient treatment. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state nursing license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 9 months RN experience; 6 months dialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties under supervision and with guidance from the Nurse Educator or Preceptor; collaborates with the health care team.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis sessions and documents in the patient medical record; adjusts treatment plan as indicated.
• Assesses patient/family learning needs and provides initial and ongoing education.
• Identifies patient status changes and communicates with supervisor, physician and other team members.
• Administers prescribed medications and manages intradialytic transfusions with proper reporting.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current state nursing license

CPR/BLS certification
