Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Services CAP pathway. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation within the dialysis setting.

You will participate in education, leadership activities, and ongoing quality improvement while collaborating with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and technicians across the care team.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years nephrology nursing experience.
• Minimum 9 months RN experience; 12 months preferred.
• 6 months acute dialysis experience preferred.
• Hemodialysis and ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform care under supervision and with guidance from Educator or another RN.
• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and document in medical record.
• Educate patients and families on learning needs.
• Coordinate communication with dialysis providers and facility personnel.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient response.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in staff training and orientation.
