Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Inpatient RN CAP 2 to join the Clinical Advancement Program. You will coordinate care for an assigned patient group, perform assessments, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes within the dialysis setting.

The role includes teaching, mentoring peers, collaborating with physicians, and meeting CAP requirements to maintain or advance. Hourly rate ranges from $36.00 to $61.00 with comprehensive benefits and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in all states employed.

Responsibilities

• Performs all essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor and with the guidance from Educator/Preceptor or other RN.
• Performs ongoing data collection and analysis of patient data pre– during – post treatment and documents in the patient medical record.
• Assesses patient/family learning needs and provides education.
• Directs and provides safe patient care for assigned patients as prescribed.
• Initiates and coordinates communication with dialysis providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Administers medications as prescribed and documents justification and effectiveness.
• May precept new employees and serve as a resource/leader for staff.
• May be assigned to assist in Outpatient facility as needed.
