Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care (Schweiz) AG seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for inpatient services to join the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). You will coordinate nephrology patient care, assess and adjust treatment plans, and mentor support staff.

You will work under supervision, provide education to patients and families, administer medications, and participate in emergency response and quality-improvement activities across dialysis modalities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• RN with nephrology nursing experience or interest.

Responsibilities

• Performs systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre–during–post treatment and documents in the medical record.
• Adjusts treatment plan as indicated and notifies supervisor, physician and primary nurse.
• Educates patients and families on learning needs and care requirements.
• Directs and provides safe, effective patient care for assigned modalities and communicates with the care team.
• Coordinates communication with dialysis providers and facility staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Administers medications as prescribed and monitors patient response and adverse events.
