Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a per diem dialysis care technician to support patient care in the acute setting. You will work under the supervision of an FMCNA RN to ensure safe dialysis therapy, accurate data entry, and adherence to QA programs across facilities.

The role emphasizes maintaining a clean environment, proper machine setup, patient assessment, and timely reporting of any concerns to the supervising nurse. A valid PCT certification and dialysis experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid PCT national certification or CMS state-specific certification.
• 1–2 years of related dialysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under the supervision of the FMCNA RN for assigned patients in the acute setting.
• Supports a safe and clean working environment.
• Participates in QEP and QAI activities and process improvement.
• Sets up and primes dialysis equipment as directed by the Fresenius Nurse.
• Records vital signs and treatment parameters accurately.
• Monitors patient response and reports findings to FMCNA RN.
