Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a healthcare professional to support inpatient hemodialysis services. You will assist in dialysis suites, monitor patients, and document treatment data under the direction of the RN.

The role includes maintaining a safe environment and participating in quality improvement activities. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be prepared to obtain CMS/state certification as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CMS/state certification must be obtained within required timeline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Employees must complete Ishihara color vision test as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under direct supervision in the dialysis suite.
• Document incidents, observations, and patient information for RN review.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and support quality improvement activities.
• Set up and prime dialysis equipment when competent and directed.
• Ensure machines are set up, tested, and safe for treatment.
• Welcome patients and monitor their well-being between treatments.
• Record pre/post-treatment vitals and weights accurately.
