Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Inpatient Hemodialysis technician to support RN-supervised patient care in the dialysis suite. You will assist with setup, monitoring, and documentation of dialysis treatments, ensuring safety and adherence to FMCNA policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include reporting incidents, maintaining a clean environment, and assisting with device setup for hemodialysis and other renal therapies as directed.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Ishihara color blindness test required (with accommodations possible).
• CMS/state certification requirements may apply; 6 months related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direct supervision of the Hemodialysis RN for assigned patients in the dialysis suite.
• Report and document new or unusual incidents to the RN.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and support quality improvement activities.
• Set up and prime equipment as directed for renal replacement therapies when competent.
• Ensure dialysis machines are set up, tested, and safe for treatment per policies.
