Fresenius Medical Care in Anniston, AL is seeking an Acute Inpatient Patient Care Technician (PCT/CCHT) to support the dialysis team in delivering safe, effective therapy. You will work under direct RN supervision, document patient data, and help maintain a clean, safe environment while supporting QA activities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and CMS certification requirements; 6 months of related experience preferred.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or its equivalent required.
• At least 6 months' experience preferred (EMT, Surgical Technicians, Army, Phlebotomists, and technicians).
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.

Mansioni

• Provides patient care under the direct supervision of the Hemodialysis RN.
• Reports and documents all incidents, complaints, or problems to the RN.
• Promotes a safe and clean working environment and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Set up and prime dialysis equipment as directed by the Fresenius Nurse for renal therapies.
• Ensure dialysis machine is set up, tested, and safe for treatment per policy.
• Welcomes patients and inquires about well-being; reports observations to the RN.
• Obtains pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight; reports unusual findings.
• Documents patient treatment accurately in EMS and ACES.
• Travel between assigned facilities as needed.
