Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Anniston, AL seeks a healthcare teammate to provide patient care in the dialysis suite under the direct supervision of the Hemodialysis RN. You will document treatments, monitor patient response, and assist in maintaining a safe, compliant environment in alignment with FMCNA policies.

Responsibilities include proper setup of dialysis equipment, accurate documentation, vital signs collection, and cooperation with QA activities to support patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under direct supervision of the Hemodialysis RN in the dialysis suite.
• Report and document new/incidents to the RN.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Assist in setup and priming of dialysis equipment under supervision.
• Obtain pre/post treatment vitals and weights.
• Document information in EMS/ACES per policy.
• Assist in safety alarms and machine checks as directed.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and QEP/QAI initiatives.
