Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Dayton, OH is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join the dialysis health care team. You will provide patient care under RN supervision and assist in setting up and monitoring dialysis therapies according to physician orders.

Completion of a CCHT or BONET certification is required, along with 1–2 years of related experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, and CMS certifications must be maintained.

Qualifications

• PCT certification (CCHT or BONENT) required.
• 1–2 years’ related healthcare experience preferred.
• Must have valid PCT national certification or state-specific certification as defined by CMS.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision for assigned patients in the dialysis setting.
• Monitor patient status and report any unusual findings to the RN.
• Set up and prime dialysis equipment as directed by the Fresenius Nurse.
• Record vital signs, treatment parameters, and weights accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and support quality improvement activities.
