Job summary

IKS Health, a leading care enablement solutions provider, is seeking an Acute Claim Biller to handle UB04 and CMS-1500 claims for Critical Access Hospitals and Rural Health Clinics using eClinicalWorks. You will coordinate patient billing, payer relations, and insurance claim preparation, ensuring timely, accurate submissions.

The role requires 3–5 years of full-cycle billing experience, experience with claims and denials, and proficiency with eClinicalWorks EMR.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years Full-Cycle billing experience, to include BOTH Acute Hospital and Physician (Profee) claims.
• Experience with Claims AND Denial work queue's.
• Experience using eClinicalWorks E.M.R - REQUIRED.
• Familiar with Commercial, Workers Comp, and VA claims REQUIRED.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
• Must be detail oriented and able to follow through on issues to resolution.
• Must be able to act both independently and as a team member.
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience needed.
• Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills with a strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through

Responsibilities

• Coordinates billing and collection activities for hospital and clinic needs.
• Manages third-party payer relations and prepares insurance claims.
• Ensures timely submission of claims and adheres to procedures.
• Monitors follow-up on third-party approvals and overdue accounts.
• Maintains accuracy and quality in billing and denial resolution.
• Keeps patient information confidential and supports customer service standards.
