Job summary

TruBridge, Inc. is seeking an Acute Claim Biller - UB04 & CMS-1500 to manage day-to-day billing for hospital and clinic claims using eClinicalWorks EMR.

The role covers patient billing, third-party payer relations, and insurance claims processing in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will coordinate billing workflows, ensure timely submissions, and drive quality assurance while maintaining confidentiality and high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years Full-Cycle billing experience, to include BOTH Acute Hospital and Physician (Profee) claims.
• Experience with Claims AND Denial work queues.
• Familiar with eClinicalWorks E.M.R - REQUIRED.
• Familiar with Commercial, Workers Comp, and VA claims.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
• Must be detail oriented and able to follow through on issues to resolution.
• Must be able to act both independently and as a team member.
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience needed.
• Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills with a strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates business office functions and personnel including patient billing, credit and collections, and data entry.
• Implements controls to ensure proper submission, billing, and collections per procedures.
• Performs follow-up on third-party approvals, billing, and collection of overdue accounts.
• Ensures accurate and timely billing in accordance with procedures and third-party requirements.
• Meets production and quality assurance standards consistently.
• Maintains quality customer service by following company policies for each customer.
• Keeps customer information confidential.
• Assists manager with coaching, training, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Supports team projects and adherence to dress code and policies.
