Qualifications

• 3-5 years Full-Cycle billing experience, including Acute Hospital and Physician (Profee) claims.
• Experience with Claims and Denial work queues.
• Experience using eClinicalWorks EMR is REQUIRED.
• Familiar with Commercial, Workers Comp, and VA claims REQUIRED.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
• Detail oriented and able to follow through on issues to resolution.
• Able to act independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate business office functions and personnel including patient billing, credit and collections, and data entry.
• Recommend new processes and changes in current processes.
• Implement controls to ensure proper submission, billing, and collections per procedures.
• Follow up on third party approvals and overdue accounts.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing by staff per procedures and client requirements.
• Maintain quality customer service and confidentiality of information.
• Assist manager with coaching and training of staff.
