The University of Maryland Medical System Corporation is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the Vascular Surgery team. This role covers care from acute inpatient emergencies to longitudinal outpatient management for a broad range of vascular conditions, with emphasis on complex aortic disease and limb preservation.

You will work closely with vascular and podiatric surgeons and a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care for patients with complex conditions, including

Qualifikationen

• Master of Science Degree with completion of an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
• Registered and currently licensed with the Maryland Board of Examiners of Nurses and Certified as a Nurse Practitioner in Maryland.
• DEA and CDS eligible; CPR required; ACLS/BCLS as required for inpatient work.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate and manage hospitalized patients with acute and chronic vascular conditions, including emergencies and postoperative care.
• Provide longitudinal outpatient care for arterial, venous, aortic, and other vascular conditions.
• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate limb salvage care and patient education.
