Job summary

MedStar Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Vascular Surgery team on a PRN basis. The role focuses on supporting the vascular outpatient clinic, documenting progress notes, providing patient education, and performing follow-up cardiac evaluations for a diverse patient population.

In addition to clinic responsibilities, the incumbent will support inpatient services as a secondary duty.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with vascular surgery experience preferred.
• Open to new graduates with appropriate clinical exposure.

Responsibilities

• Support the vascular surgery outpatient clinic and document progress notes.
• Provide patient education and conduct follow-up cardiac evaluations.
• Respond to urgent clinical inquiries and patient needs.
• Provide support to the inpatient service as a secondary responsibility.
