HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join the Inpatient/Acute Care Speech Therapy team on a PRN basis.

The role includes evaluation, treatment planning, and execution of therapy within the plan of care, with education duties for patients and families. Ideal candidates will hold licensure, be eligible for state licensure, and be prepared to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program meeting licensure requirements in the state of practice.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and execute treatment plans.
• Coordinate and delegate discipline-specific therapy services.
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and self-professional advancement.
• Engage and develop interdisciplinary teams within the care plan.
