Job summary

Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work within a multidisciplinary team delivering therapy to adult and geriatric patients in acute care rehabilitation.

You will evaluate, treat, and monitor progress, document care per regulatory standards, and educate families and nursing staff on follow-through programs in a fast-paced setting. CPR/BLS and ASHA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current and unrestricted SLP license in the state of service.
• ASHA CCC or eligible certification.
• At least 6 months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients; monitor progress and adjust plan of care.
• Document care in compliance with regulatory and accrediting standards.
• Educate families and nursing staff on follow-through programs.
• Coordinate with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care.
