Job summary

ChristianaCare is recruiting for a part time Speech Language Pathologist to assess and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders in an inpatient acute care setting. With an emphasis on patient-family centered care, we collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive therapy.

The role requires a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology, Delaware licensure eligibility, CCC or CF Certification, CPR certification, and acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) OR CF Certification.
• CPR Certification.
• Acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment programs to include family specific goals and time frames.
• Provide patient and family education and training.
