Job summary

David Lawrence Centers For Behavioral Health in Naples, FL seeks a House Supervisor to oversee Acute Care Units during shifts. The role directs nurses and clinicians, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports staffing and patient flow to optimize care and minimize costs.

Qualified candidates hold a BSN or MSN, FL RN license, 5+ years of RN leadership in hospitals, and BLS certification. Experience in mental health/substance use is highly valued; strong EMR and Office 365 skills are required.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN and completion of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Current, clear, and unencumbered FL Registered Nurse License.
• Five plus years as an RN in a hospital setting at the level of Charge Nurse or Supervisor.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Experience in Mental Health/Substance Use and ability to lead staff in emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to RNs, LPNs, Behavioral Healthcare Technicians, and Clinicians as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory agencies.
• Serve as designee for administration duties in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
• Assist with staffing to maintain appropriate levels of care/coverage.
• Collaborate with ESAC and Charge Nurses to assign beds and manage transfers.
• Maintain timely EMR documentation and follow-up on significant events.
• Assist with incident investigations and risk management reporting.
• Implement infection control practices and agency standards for seclusion and restraint.
• Conduct rounds on Acute Care Units and support staff during admissions, orders, and discharges.
