Job summary

The Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas seeks an experienced registered nurse to join its acute care team. You will provide safe, competent nursing care, support the healthcare team, and uphold patient-centered care standards across shifts.

Requirements include an active Nevada RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications as applicable, with BSN preferred. One year of acute care experience or specialty training is expected. On-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent. BSN preferred.
• One year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients). Other certification as may be required by facility, specialty or department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
