Job summary

Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 3rd shift to provide patient- and family-centered care in a setting that emphasizes best practice and customer service.

The role spans multiple acute care departments including Medical Units, Surgery Units, Emergency, ICU, and more; you will collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality nursing care, uphold professional standards, HIPAA, and participate in the Nursing Practice Model.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing; or a minimum of five years acute care nursing experience if not accredited.
• BSN preferred or required within five years from date of hire (MSN enrollment accepted in place of BSN).
• Area-specific education such as ACLS, BLS, PALS or specialty certification must be obtained and maintained.
• Current licensure by the Indiana State Board of Nurses' Registration and Nursing Education as an active RN.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in alignment with the ANA Code of Ethics and Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
• Coordinate patient care across units with effective leadership and collaboration.
• Manage resources and time efficiently while focusing on priorities and staff education.
• Assign and supervise patient care based on nurse expertise, patient acuity, and needs.
• Engage in evidence-based practice and nursing research for unit improvement.
• Participate in staff meetings, peer reviews, and hospital-wide initiatives.

Education

RN licensure

BSN preferred/required within five years

ACLS/BLS/PALS or specialty certifications
