Job summary

UC Health's UC Medical Center in Cincinnati is hiring a Full Time Clinical Nurse I (CN I - registered nurse) for the flex shift. The CN I promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

Licensed RN in Ohio with ASN required, BSN preferred; current BLS/ACLS/PALS per department; no experience required. The role applies the ANCC Synergy Model and provides compassionate, age-appropriate care to diverse patient

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited school of Nursing (ASN).
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of Nursing (BSN).
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS per department requirements based on patient population needs.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in population appropriate communication.
• Gives clear instructions to patients/family regarding treatment. Involves family/guardian in the assessment, initial treatment and continuing care of the patient.
• Performs treatments, administers medication or operates equipment safely.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to promote and restore patient health.
