Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes up-to-date evidence-based practice, meticulous patient assessment, and coordinated care delivery to diverse patient populations.

The position requires a NJ RN license and BLS/CPR certification, with a preference for 1+ year of acute care experience and a BSN either held or pursued within three years of hire. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience highly desired.
• National certification preferred.
• BSN preferred or willing to acquire within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based nursing care to assigned patient population.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team including physicians and support services.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care; document findings.
• Educate patients and families and ensure safe discharge planning.
