Qualifications

• 1 year or equivalent hours of critical care (ICU or ER) experience within the last 3 years.
• Registered Nurse license for California upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and evaluate outcomes, adjusting nursing care as needed.
• Monitor patients and report changes to the physician or supervisor.
• Perform technical nursing procedures safely and seek help when required.
• Develop and update individualized care plans as patient conditions evolve.
• Assess educational needs and provide multidisciplinary education to patients.
• Administer narcotics and medications accurately and timely, per policy.
