Job summary

You will perform assessments, plan and implement care, and educate patients and families while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. California nursing license and relevant certifications are required or will be pursued within defined timelines.

Qualifications

• RN license required (CA) upon hire.
• ACLS certification required upon hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required upon hire.
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• NRP certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Floats to departments as assigned, maintaining uninterrupted patient care.
• Performs routine assessments and follows the care plan with physician notification as needed.
• Formulates and participates in planning patient care for routine health transitions.
• Delivers patient education tailored to individual needs and family involvement.
• Ensures efficient care delivery and prioritization of immediate needs.
• Makes independent clinical decisions based on education and experience.
